Moore's Law & the Cloud Advantage

Written by kinetech | Nov 26, 2019

In 1965, Gordon Moore, the co-founder of Intel, observed that the number of transistors per square inch on integrated circuits had doubled every year since the integrated circuit was invented. He predicted this pattern would continue for the foreseeable future. This is frequently cited as "Moore's Law."

This doubling of compute power had a transformative impact on virtually every industry and has resulted in the cost of software decreasing ~70% over the past 20 years. In fact, five of the largest companies in the United States are technology based. The oldest Microsoft  (1975) is not even 45.

Is your business ready to take advantage of this trend to become an example of innovation or will it become a victim of disruption? Learn how to gain an unfair advantage here: www.kinetechcloud.com/services.
